Update the Addon

This section explains how to update the LIATool addon to the latest version. Regular updates ensure you have access to the latest features and improvements. To download updates, a token is required. You can request the token by contacting the administrator. The address is structured as gruber.pavel followed by @gmail.com. Follow the steps below to check for updates and install them efficiently.

Selecting version type — Update the Addon Panel.

Select Version Type

Use the dropdown menu labeled DEVELOPER or RELEASE to choose between development versions and stable releases of the addon.

View Available Versions

After selecting the version type, the dropdown will display the currently installed version and other available versions (e.g., 0.5.1, 0.5.0). Select the version you wish to download.

Refresh Version List

If the available versions list does not show the desired version, click the Refresh button to update the list. This ensures you are viewing the most recent versions of the addon.

Prepare to Download

Once the list is updated and the desired version is selected, click the Download button to start downloading the addon.

Token Authorization

When prompted, enter your token to authorize the download. If you do not have a token, request one by contacting the administrator. The address is structured as gruber.pavel followed by @gmail.com. After entering the token, press the + button to proceed.

Confirm Installation

Once the download is complete, the addon is installed directly into Blender’s addon manager.

There is no need to manually download or install the ZIP file again, this means you can skip Step 3 from the installation process.
